Buses run often during peak times from Melbourne Airport and there is a bus to meet every flight in and out of Avalon Airport. The larger buses run into the Melbourne CBD at Southern Cross Station, Pegasus Apart' Hotel is only 1km from the SkyBus terminal and you can either walk, catch a taxi or catch a free city tram (Tram #30).

Having both taxis and Uber available directly outside Terminals 1, 2 and 4 will make it easier for you to access transport no matter who you fly with, or if you arrive on a domestic or international flight.Uber takes the stress out of arranging a dropoff.

Ubers are waiting at the airport with a direct service. Taxis operate from a separate line our front of the airport, also readily waiting your trip!

Reaching the city is possible with Public Transport Victoria (PTV). The best option is the Route 901 SmartBus to Broadmeadows Station, then a train to Southern Cross – the whole trip takes about 60–70 minutes and costs just around $8 with a myki card.

For a faster ride, the SkyBus runs every 10–15 minutes and gets you to Southern Cross Station in about 30 minutes.
